One of the standout tracks from Atjazz & Jullian Gomes’ ‘Big Bad Crazy’ release ‘It’s My Time’ gets the remix treatment from Freerange / Delusions Of Grandeur head honcho Jimpster. Taking the skipping and soulful grooves of the original, Jimpster reworks the percussion into a techier, driving rhythm, adding mesmerising quick-fire arps whilst chopping and stuttering the vocals to add to the glitchy IDM aesthetic of the remix. The flipside houses the instrumental version that lets the sweeping, celestial undertones and synth squiggles breath, keeping choice elements of those fragmented vocal snippets in the mix for added texture.
